"Hey! AIPAC is meeting"

AIPAC is meeting
We have a greeting
Cuz they're not speaking
For any of us

Justice is dying
AIPAC is lying
Lies we're not buying
No No No!

AIPAC doesn't speak for me
Apartheid's not my cup of tea
Palestine to Tripoli
We want democracy

Buying Congress with their cash
All opposing views they bash
Can't have them talking trash
No No No!

Move! Move!
Move over AIPAC!

Move over your weapon hawking
Move over your racist talking
Move over we're freedom seeking
Move over cuz we are speaking
Move over move over
For a free Palestine

30 Little Known Facts About Israel

>>>30 Little Known Facts About Israel<<<

1. Did you know that non-Jewish Israelis cannot buy or lease land in Israel? A Jew from any country in the world is guaranteed citizenship in Israel, while the Palestinians who have been there for centuries are oppressed and persecuted.

2. Did you know that instead of sewing an insignia on clothing to distinguish race (like the Germans did to the Jews before WW2), Palestinian license plates in Israel are color coded to distinguish Jews from non-Jews?

3. Did you know that East Jerusalem, the West Bank, Gaza, and the Golan Heights are all considered by the entire world community, including the United States and the United Nations, to be occupied territory and NOT part of the State of Israel?

4. Did you know that Israel allots 85% of the water resources for Jews, and the remaining 15% is divided among all Palestinians in the territories? For example in Hebron, 85% of the water is set aside for about 400 Jewish settlers, while the remaining 15% is distributed among Hebron's 120, 000 Palestinians?

5. Did you know that the United States awards Israel $5 billion in aid each year from American tax dollars?

6. Did you know that US aid to Israel ($1.8 billion annually in military aid alone) exceeds the aid the US grants to the entire African continent? This aid is used both to buy American weaponry and to buy arms made in Israel.

7. Did you know that Israel is awaiting an additional $4 billion worth of American military hardware, including new F-16s and Apache and Blackhawk helicopters. As Israel's main ally and supporter internationally, the United States is committed to maintaining the Jewish state's "qualitative edge" in weapons over its neighbours.

8. Did you know that the U.S. administration has notified Congress on numerous occasions that Israel has violated the rules on how US-supplied weapons are used? (In 1978, 1979 and 1982 during fighting in Lebanon, and once after Israel's bombing of an Iraqi nuclear reactor in 1981.)

9. Did you know that Israel is the only country in the Middle East that refuses to sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty and bars international inspections from its sites?

10. Did you know that high-ranking military officers in the Israeli Defence Forces have admitted publicly that unarmed prisoners of war have been summarily executed by the Israeli forces?

11. Did you know that Israel blew up an American diplomatic facility in Egypt and attacked a US warship in international waters (the USS Liberty), killing 33 and wounding 177 American sailors and the US did nothing about it? (Imagine if an Islamic country like Iraq did this!)

12. Did you know that Israel stands in defiance of 69 United Nations Security Council Resolutions?

13. Did you know that Israel is explicitly dedicated to the policy of maintaining a distinct Jewish character?

14. Did you know that Israel's current Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, was found by an Israeli court to be "personally and directly responsible" for the Sabra and Shatilla massacre in Lebanon where more than a thousand innocent Palestinian men, women, and children were axed to death or lined up and shot in cold blood?

15. Did you know that on May 20, 1990, a group of unarmed Palestinian labourers were lined up and murdered by an Israeli solider as they sat waiting for transportation back to Gaza? The terrified labourers who gathered in an area of southern Israel known as Rishon Lezion (known to Palestinians by its Arabic name Oyon Qara) handed their ID cards to the Israeli soldier. The soldiers ordered the distressed labourers to kneel down and face the ground and unexpectedly showered them with a barrage of bullets, killing seven and wounding many others. Needless to say, the soldier was not charged with any crime.

16. Did you know that until as recently as 1988, Israelis were permitted to run "Jews Only" job ads?

17. Did you know that the Israeli Foreign Ministry pays six US public relations firms to promote a "positive image" of Israel to the American public?

18. Did you know that Sharon's coalition government includes a party--Molodet--which advocates ethnic cleansing by openly calling for the forced expulsion of all Palestinians from the occupied territories?

19. Did you know that recently-declassified documents indicate that David Ben-Gurion approved of the forced expulsion of Arabs from all Palestinian territory in 1948?

20. Did you know that the former chief rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Ovadia Yossef, who is also a founder and spiritual leader of the religious Shas party (Israel's third largest political party) openly advocates a 'Final Solution' to annihilate the Palestinians? Speaking at the widely broadcast sermon marking the last Passover, he declared of the Palestinians: "The Lord shall return their deeds on their own heads, waste their seed and exterminate them, devastate them and vanish them from this world. It is forbidden to be merciful to them. You must send missiles to them and annihilate them. They are evil and damnable."

21. Did you know that Palestinian refugees make up the largest portion of the refugee population in the world?

22. Did you know that Palestinian Christians are considered the "living stones" of Christianity because they are the direct descendants of the disciples of Jesus Christ? And the Palestinian Christians stand united with their Muslim brethren in the struggle against the Israeli occupation.

23. Did you know that despite a ban on torture by Israel's High Court of Justice, torture has continued unabated by Shin Bet interrogators on Palestinian prisoners?

24. Did you know that despite every Israeli attempt to disrupt Palestinian education, Palestinians have the highest ratio of PhDs per capita in the world?

25. Did you know that the right of self-determination is guaranteed to every human being under the Universal Declaration of Human Rights [December, 1948], yet Palestinians were/are expected to negotiate for this right under the Oslo Accords?

26. Did you know that despite what is widely perpetuated and written in the history books that the Arabs attacked Israel in the 1967 war, it was Israel who attacked the Arab countries first, capturing Jerusalem and the West Bank, and called the attack a pre-emptive strike?

27. Did you know that, as an occupying power, Israel has a particular responsibility under the Geneva Conventions to protect Palestinian civilians?

28. Did you know that, despite Ariel Sharon's public call for a unilateral ceasefire, Israeli soldiers have not stopped shooting, killing or bulldozing Palestinian homes? The most recent example of this is the murder of three innocent women who were shot by an Israeli tank as they sat in their tent!

29. Did you know that the Zionists have been trying to destroy Masjid al-Aqsa and the Dome of the Rock for the last 50 years by digging underground tunnels beneath the sites to weaken its foundation causing it to collapse?

30. Nelson Mandela called the Israeli government an apartheid regime, just like South Africa used to be.

Polish PM D.Tusk must raise CIA secret prison with Obama

On the photo: Abu Zubaydah, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Abdul Rahim al-Nashiri. (All of them were tortured in Poland)

A coalition of legal and human rights organisations is today calling on Prime Minister Donald Tusk to raise the issue of the CIA's secret prison in Poland with President Obama.

The Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, Interights and Reprieve are jointly calling on the Polish Prime Minister to use the historic occasion of President Obama's visit to ask for the cooperation of US authorities with Poland's investigation into the CIA 'black site'.

Among the people who have been detained and tortured at the military base at Stare Kiejkuty was Abu Zubaydah, who was recently recognized as a victim by the prosecutors running the criminal investigation into the site. There he was tortured by CIA agents into making confessions which have resulted in him being held in Guantanamo Bay to this day.

The organisations are calling on Prime Minister Tusk to stress to the US President that his country's failure so far to cooperate with Poland's criminal investigation is unacceptable - and that Poland itself will be in breach of its international obligations if it fails to investigate fully allegations of torture on Polish territory.

Sanampay ''Yo te nombro...''

For the caged bird.
For the fish in the tank.
For my friend, who is in prison
because he said what he thinks.
For plucked flowers.
For the trampled grass.
For the tortured body (For the pruned trees)
Of my friend who doesn't sing, (For the tortured bodies)
I call your name,
Freedom...

Libertad...

.....................................................................................................................

W imieniu ptaków uwięzionych w klatce,
Ryb schwytanych w sieci,
W imieniu uwięzionego przyjaciela,
Który miał odwagę mówić to, co myślał,
W imieniu zerwanych kwiatów,
Zdeptanej trawy,
Okaleczonych drzew
I naszych torturowanych braci
Przyzywam
wolność...

Pour l’oiseau dans la cage
Pour le Poisson dans la bocal
Pour mon ami qui est en prison
Pour avoir dit ce qu’il pensait
Pour les fleurs arrachées

Pour les corps torturés
Je te nomme

Ziyad Yaghi is a 21 year old American citizen, from Jordan originally, residing in North Carolina whom has lived in the United States since the age of two. He has been accused of attempting to commit terrorism abroad by the United States government, in an indictment which appears to be based on an incorrect premise, namely that the US seek to infer that trips abroad were part of a terrorist conspiracy.

Ziyad visited Jordan in 2006, the country of his birth. Unfortunately the US Indictment appears to have misinterpreted this intention, and states instead that he was seeking armed conflict.

I was sitting in the yard
Under the green olive tree, beside the wreath of bay leaves
My loving mother was baking me bread
My father was watering the lemon tree with my sister Malak (Angel)
Suddenly, an old man came to the fountain
Called me darling, most beautiful bird
We are high up, and you are in the valleys
We give you some rights, you give us the birth certificate
We give you air and shadow
We give you water from the river
We give you the sun and light
And you live in security
I told him the air and shadow
I told him the river and water
I told him the sun and light
Are from God
No matter how long it will take
If family and neighbor give up
I will not give up my land, the land of the free

Child and childhood

My song for the child and childhood
For the shy innocent smile
For boys playing with dirt
Whose voices open a thousand doors
Of limited stories in our East
My song for the child and childhood

* * * * *

My song is a calling plane
In our east, deprivation did not bloom
Wouldn't there be care for my country's child
As any other child

* * * * *

Some Arab children are born in war
Some Arab children grow up in war

* * * * *

They bloom fear and heroism
It became a childhood game
* * * * * *

Tomorrow, the blue morning will come
Tomorrow, our children are the morning
Luxury, education and forgiveness
And for peace a wing's flap
* * * * *

Our children are our hope
Tomorrow, they are the change
Tomorrow, they are the change
That will lead to freedom

* * * * *

Some Arab children are born in war
Some Arab children grow up in war

Under the auspices of Egypt, delegations from the Fatah and Hamas movements met in Cairo on April 27, 2011 to discuss the issues concerning ending the political division and the achievement of national unity. On top of the issues were some reservations related to the Palestinian National Unity Accord made in 2009.

Uwolnić Naji i BassemaTamimi - Free Bassem and Naji Tamimi

Napisz do Ministra Spraw Zagranicznych w sprawie Naji i Bassema Tamimich.
Po prostu wejdź na link poniżej, kliknij 'Poland' , wpisz swoje dane i kliknij 'send':

Treść wysyłanego listu :

Szanowny Panie Ministrze,
Zwracam się do Pana w sprawie Naji i Bassem Tamimi, dwojga
Palestyńczyków, organizatorów pokojowych protestów, z wioski Nabi
Saleh położonej na Zachodnim Brzegu. Aresztowani odpowiednio 6. i 24.
marca, zostali oskarżeni o "podburzanie" i "organizowanie marszów bez
sprawie.
Zarzuty przeciwko Naji i Bassemowi Tamimi są przede wszystkim oparte
na zeznaniach dwójki dzieci - czternasto- i piętnastolatka, którzy
zostali aresztowani w środku nocy, pobici i przesłuchiwani, z
naruszeniem szeregu zasad: pozbawiano ich snu, odmówiono prawa do
konsultacji z prawnikiem, i prawa do obecności rodziców. W przypadku

nagonkę sądową przeciwko Abdallahowi Abu Rahamahowi z wioski Bil'in,
zarówno formą oskarżenia jaki i stosowanymi metodami. Wioska Nabi
Saleh stała się ostatnio głównym punktem pokojowych protestów
przeciwko izraelskiej ekspansji nielegalnych żydowskich osiedli. W
mogę siedzieć bezczynnie podczas gdy Naji i Bassem Tamimi i pozostałym
mieszkańcom wioski odmawia się podstawowego prawa do protestowania
przeciwko nielegalnej grabieży ich ziemi. Mam nadzieję, że zabierze
Pan głos w ich obronie. Będę w przyszłości kontaktował się z Panem w
tej niezwykle istotnej sprawie. Czekam na Pańską odpowiedzi.
Z poważaniem,

About Basem and Naji Tamimi:

Bassem and Naji Tamimi have organized unarmed protests in the West Bank village of Nabi Saleh. The protests have featured women prominently, and have focused on an end to occupation: of land, of minds, of hearts— for Palestinians and Israelis alike.

The Israeli army has reponded with raids, arrests, and injuries to men, women, and children. Now they have arrested Bassem and Naji in order to break the spirit of the village. Based on testimony illegally coerced of a 14 year-old, Bassem and Naji are imprisoned without trial. Their freedom will depend on all of us speaking out.

(Arabia Saudyjska wysłała do Bahrajnu wojska w celu utrzymania tamtejszej władzy, wojska saudyjskie dokonują aktów jawnej przemocy i mordów w stosunku do obywateli Bahrajnu i pokojowych demostracji. Bahrańczycy nie uznają obecnej władzy. Ingerencja i obecność żołnierzy saudyjskich w celu jej utrzymania jest formą okupacji i aktem wojny.)
